2010 Accellos User Meeting

Accellos will be hosting its first learning event of the year in April at the Westin Kierland Resort in Scottsdale, AZ, immediately following the annual IARW conference. This meeting is open to ALL Accellos users, not just those attending the IARW conference.  It is a learning event focused on how to use Accellos software to increase your sales, decrease your expenses and better service your clients.  It is geared toward owner and management levels.

As version 2.1 of Accellos One Optimize is set to go into wide release in the coming weeks, we thought we would give our valued Accelerator subscribers a first look at this exciting new version.  Optimize 2.1 includes a host of new features that will appeal to companies looking to benefit from Load Building and Route Optimization, paired with the power of Carrier Rating and Selection.

HST is proposed to combine the 8% Ontario sales tax and the 5% GST into a single 13% value-added sales tax that would be federally administered, starting July 1, 2010.  If you are an Accellos One 3PL or Accellos One Transport user and either travel in or have customers based in Ontario, you may be affected by this change.  Please see the appropriate section below for more information and possible required action.

Early Trucking of Arlington, Georgia, is a carrier of peanuts, corn, grain, and several other agricultural commodities.  Formed nearly 20 years ago as a transportation arm of Damascus Peanuts, the company has since grown to a full-scale trucking operation serving the agricultural industry in the southern United States.  Much of its core business involves the transport of peanuts from local farmers to processing plants for storage and preparation, and finally to manufacturing facilities where they are used in many of the foods we find in restaurants and grocery stores nationwide.
