Accellos and Romanian technology provider together will sell, implement and support Accellos’ warehouse management systems in Europe
Accellos has announced a new partnership with Eutron, a Romania-based provider of technology and professional services.
Under the terms of the partnership, Eutron is licensed to sell, implement, and support Accellos’ warehouse management systems and other integrated Accellos supply chain solutions for clients throughout Europe.
You still have time to take advantage of deductions on equipment purchases this year. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act has officially extended the Section 179 Deduction increases through December 31, 2009,
What is the Section 179 Deduction?
Section 179 sounds arcane and complicated, but it really isn’t. Section 179 of the IRS tax code allows businesses to deduct the full purchase price of qualifying equipment purchased of financed during the tax year.
So if you buy or lease qualifying equipment you can deduct the full purchase price from your gross income. Computers and computer software qualify.
This is an incentive program created by the U.S. Government to encourage businesses to buy equipment and invest in their own growth. When your business buys certain types of new equipment, you would normally get to write them off over a longer period of time. But for the remainder of 2009 your company can write off the entire amount this year.
Consult with your CPA to see if you can take advantage of this deduction.
