Did you know that Accellos One Warehouse has introduced dynamic task assignment for sales and purchase orders?
The dynamic task assignment function gives your dispatcher the ability to prioritize picking and receiving activities. Dispatchers no longer have to rely on the default sequence when building waves, instead they can prioritize orders, so customer pick-up or high-profile orders can be expedited. Two new right-click jobs have been added to Web Dispatch, giving dispatchers the ability to assign purchase orders and sales orders to specific operators.
When users log into the handhelds, they will see the total number of orders that have been assigned to them. Pickers and Receivers can press a function key on the handheld that lets them select from their assigned work. When a sales order or purchase order is assigned to a specific user, other users will not be prevented from processing that order. The dispatcher can easily clear or re-assign the order if the assigned operator is unavailable for any reason.
